Congratulations on already going for two weeks. With quitting you have to make a conscious decision to quit or stay quit and you can do it. There is a relatively new drug out there called Chantix. It first came out some time last year. You need a prescription for it. It has no nicotine and takes the craving away. It really works, after a while you don’t want to smoke anymore.
Or set a date and quit cold turkey, it is not as hard as many ex smokers make you believe. The hardest with that is setting the date and then stick to it. The first day is very hard and you feel very vulnerable and only think of smoking, the second day is already better, the third even more. I quit 40 days ago, cold turkey, and feel great and usually don’t think about smokes.

The very best of luck and keep with it:)

Chantix helped my wife and I quit. It made us both too sick to want to!!

I just switched over to snuff, and have not smoked for 6 months. My wife quit chantix after about 6 weeks (I only lasted 2) and started smoking after about 2 days off of it.

Just remember, Nicotine per se, is not bad for you, it is the smoking. Just don’t light up again no matter what.

I have try’d to quit smoking twice using patches, and wellbutrane and failed both times. I have been smoking for 24 years, 4 packs a day! Then my doctor told me about Chantix. I’m also a bad diabetic so it was imperative for me to quit smoking, not to mention I could have bought a house by now if I had never had that first smoke. I have been an ex- smoker for 7 months and 6 days today!!! Chantix works on the neurons in you re brain that crave the nicotine and it worked better than i ever thought it would!! I had scheduled my start time on the chantix and realized that my actual quit date would be on St. Patrics day! being the Irish girl I am I knew I would be having a green beer or two, but I stuck to that date!! I havent smoked since and everyone I’ve told about it has quit too!! It’s probably you re only chance! Do it!!!!

        Hello There,
I think that everybody is different, my wife has tryed some nicotine patches and they did not work for her.

She has smoked for over 10 years and when she found out that she was preagnant with our now newborn 3 months old daughter, she had promised me that if I found a good solution for quitting, she will try her best to kick the habit.

Well in my spare time I started researching online for quit smoking programs, meanwhile she was trying out patches and gums that you can buy at grocery stores and adventually they would not work for her.

After about a week of researching I had stumbled over a website that really impressed me on what they had to offer and that they actually say that they can almost guarantee your success, and most importantly that you can try it out for free.

The company has been around for over 20 years now and they have helped over a million smokers quit since and their kit has everything that you possibly need to help you quit smoking, I thought WoW that is impressive.

I went ahead and ordered the free trial for my wife (only paid for shipping) and she has quit smoking in just two weeks and she doesn’t want to hear about or smell another cigarette again in her life :)
Now it is up to you, but since my wife has quit, I was so happy about her success, so much so that I had built a small review site of the product to also help other people quit, you can check it out at; if you want to find out more.
Thanks for reading my short story, I hope it helps, good luck and stay healthy.
